Le Poggie is a dry white built around perfume and softness. White flowers and ripe apricot rise immediately from the glass, giving the wine a fragrant, ripe character that carries into a rounded palate.
Gently mouth-filling and fresh, it keeps that floral character clear through each sip. Freshness gives the fruit definition and carries the wine into a smooth, lightly perfumed finish.
Bright straw yellow with subtle green reflections.
Delicate white flowers come first, opening onto ripe pear and apricot.
A smooth, gently mouth-filling texture carries the orchard fruit. Fresh acidity keeps it clear and even through the middle. Pear and a light floral echo linger into the dry finish.
Le Poggie works especially well with vegetable tempura, baccalà mantecato on grilled polenta, asparagus risotto, baked sea bass with fennel, herb-roasted chicken or fresh goat’s cheese. Cantonese steamed fish with ginger and spring onion also suits it particularly well.
Serve at 10–12°C.
