Short description

ALTA Valpolicella opens on ripe cherry and violet, giving the wine a vivid floral-fruit perfume. The palate is supple and juicy, with freshness keeping the red fruit bright as a gentle savoury undertone adds depth.

Rounded and mouth-filling, it carries that perfume through a lively palate, bringing ripe fruit, floral lift and savoury freshness together in one fluid expression.

Features

Intense ruby red.

Ripe cherry leads the bouquet, joined by red berries and plum. Violet brings a delicate floral note; dried leaf and gentle spice sit beneath the fruit.

The palate is juicy and rounded, with creamy tannins giving the ripe berries a supple texture. Lively acidity keeps the centre vivid, while a subtle earthy note adds savoury definition.

The finish is clean and persistent, leaving red fruit and mild spice.

Food pairing

Serve ALTA Valpolicella with roast rabbit and polenta, veal polpette in tomato sauce, bigoli with duck ragù, herb-roasted chicken, grilled radicchio with Taleggio or medium-aged Monte Veronese.

Pour directly from the bottle into a generous glass.

Serve at 15–16°C.
