ALTA Amarone opens on the vivid perfume of fresh cherry and strawberry, a red-fruit character that remains clear through the wine’s warmth and concentration.
Full-bodied, dry and supple, it spreads smoothly across the palate. Freshness keeps the fruit lifted inside an enveloping texture, giving ALTA Amarone generous breadth while preserving its fragrant character.
Deep ruby red with purple highlights.
Fresh cherry and strawberry lead the bouquet. Blackberry and ripe plum form a darker fruit layer, with cocoa, liquorice and warm spice behind.
Fine tannins give the concentrated fruit a rounded shape, while fresh acidity keeps ripe cherry clear through the middle. Blackberry adds density toward the close.
Liquorice, cocoa and warm spice linger through a long, dry finish.
Serve ALTA Amarone with roast duck with juniper, pigeon with soft polenta, veal shank braised with herbs, grilled lamb cutlets, pappardelle with hare ragù or mature Monte Veronese.
Allow around 30 minutes in a decanter before serving.
Serve at 17–18°C.
